Milestones

Bibles- 3rd students received new Study Bibles Wednesday, Sept 25 and Sunday, Sept 29. Details will be sent to Church School families in the fall.

First Communion- This Milestone is open to all students who along with their parents are ready to learn more about this special Sacrament. We mark this milestone at Fourth Grade and hope that all students will receive Communion by this age. We ask that a parent or caring adult attend the learning event with their student:
First Communion instruction will take place during Church School on Wednesday, April 9 and Sunday, April 13. First Communion will take place during 6:15pm worship on Maundy Thursday, April 17.

Don’t forget to download the worksheet that goes along with this learning event.

First Communion Learning Event Worksheet

There will be special blessing for First Communion students on Maundy Thursday, April 17 at 6:15pm. If you cannot attend that service, you can receive Communion any time after you’ve completed the worksheet and connected with Deacon Julie.

As a parent, some of the important things you do for your child don’t happen in a single day. You make small deposits in their life week after week- over time. That’s why the Parent Cue app gives weekly cues to help you make the most of the time you spend with your kid or teenager.
